c 30k + great bonus opportunity

No Late nights! Shifts will range from 8 am 8pm

The Company

We are so excited to be recruiting for this fantastic leisure job in York, for a leading operator in the family entertainment sector. As the UK s number 1 park operator this exciting business have massive plans to grow over the next 12-18 months. This will be a brand new park that is due to open early 2024 I am looking for a Hospitality Manager. This is a leisure job not to be missed!

You will be responsible for the running of the Food & Beverage offering. You must have experience in managing rotas and stock control, supervising a team as well as the ability to make a great cup of coffee! You will also be responsible for children s birthday parties and the team that deliver these. So, a real focus on a guest experience & engagement is a must.

The site in York will have great community ties and has some amazing facilities and will be the perfect place to spend time with the family! You will also be responsible for providing an amazing experience to all the customers so a passion for service is an absolute must! As the face of the business, you need to be calm and approachable and can act quickly and effectively.

Requirements

  • Experience of managing a team
  • Great customer service & a passion for people
  • Brilliant basics
  • Experience of managing a team, stock control, managing payroll
  • Level 2 food safety - ideally Level 3
  • Experience in a commercial kitchen

The Job

  • Delivery of consistent high-quality food and beverage product
  • Excellent customer service standards across the department
  • Staff recruitment, development, and retention
  • Stock management ensuring controls are in place and utilised to accurately order, process, track, count and analyse stock movements ensuring availability of product, minimising wastage, and delivering profit to budget
  • Building up party room business to reach weekly capacity
  • Smooth delivery of party room event planning including communication, all scheduling, experience and parent and child engagement to maximise capacity
  • Working in a fast pace and ever changing environment. No two days are the same.
  • Shift Pattern: Opening and closing of the facility and you will be required to work weekends as part of the role. Hours of work are between 8am - 8 pm

What are we looking for?

You must have a passion for providing great customer service!
