Established in 1949 Dr. George Eason and the staff members dedicated themselves to providing only the finest treatment to each patient. Over time as the practice grew and ownership changed hands the core mission and values remained the same.

Kingsport Veterinary Hospital is now a fourdoctor practice that concentrates on providing only the finest care treatment and support to each of our patients.

In keeping our clients and patients satisfied we believe in treating each pet as our own maintaining a dedicated staff and keeping all employees up to date on new methods and techniques in veterinary medicine.

Essential Functions:

• Perform custodial duties including sweeping mopping dusting and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize restrooms break rooms surgery suite exam rooms and other common areas
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
• Perform floor care tasks such as buffing waxing and polishing if/when needed
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Requirements/Qualifications

• Previous veterinary medicine experience preferred but not required
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
• Good time management skills to prioritize work effectively
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to lift patients and carry equipment up to 40 pounds; ability to lift patients or carry equipment over 40 pounds with assistance
• Practice OSHA safety techniques including proper PPE
• Computer skills MS office applications etc.
