Role & responsibilities
JOB DESCRIPTION

To maintain a clean and sterile OT.
-
To check equipment's and take necessary action.
-
To see that the trolleys are set for each procedure with enough and correct instruments, sutures, linen etc.
-
To assist the surgeon in the procedure
-
To be the nurse advocate of the patient.
-
To take over and hand over the patient to the floors/ICU.
-
To count the instruments and swab before closing the operated part.
-
To see that the instruments are washed, packed and autoclaved for the next use.
-
To maintain the OT records.

To take charge of the equipment.
Preferred candidate profile
GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery (Staff Nurse) - 10th + 12th + GNM COURSE.
SKILLS REQUIRED
Aseptic Techniques, Standard OT practices, Handling of Lifesaving, Equipment
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
1 - 5 YRS
