Job Description

• Oracle/PostgreSQL/Aurora MySQL/ Aurora PostgreSQL Database on AWS
• Experience with database migrations to AWS Cloud
• Design deploy and support databases on Ec2 AWS RDS and VMware platform
• Candidate should possess handson experience in working on some of the relational and nonrelational databases (Oracle/SQL Server/DB2/PostgreSQL/MySQL/Golden Gate/Data Guard) on AWS and/or onprem infrastructure.
• 3 years Experience with AWS Services like AWS RDS Aurora EC2 S3 DMS AWS Backups and DynamoDB.
• 3 years Experience with the Design and deployment of Amazon Machine Images (AMI) for Database.
• 8 Oracle experience in Production Environment: Install Configure Patch Upgrade and Support databases in Production.
• 6 SQL Server experience in Production Environment: Install Configure Patch Upgrade and Support databases in Production.
• 5 Db2 experience in a Production Environment: Install Configure Patch Upgrade and Support databases in Production knowledge with qrep.
• Experience with AWS Cloud Service Provider Architecture deployment use cases and best practices.
• Oracle DataPump and RMAN: Backup and Recovery.
• 5 years Oracle Golden Gate Replication: Install Configure Upgrade Support & Troubleshoot.
• 5 years SQL server AlwaysOn: Install Configure Upgrade Support & Troubleshoot.
• UNIX / Linux OS Performance tuning.
• SQL Shell Scripting.
• Experience in database migrations from onprem to AWS Cloud replication technologies like Oracle Golden Gate/HVR
• Agile methodology and skill including experience with Scrum Ceremonies and work management tools (e.g. (JIRA Confluence).
• Work as a crossfunctional team member to support multiple work streams and products.
• Excellent Communication Skills.
• Should be able to support OnCall rotation.
