Hiring for Network Security Engineer at Chicago Il Full Time Onsite
Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain firewall policies rules and configurations to meet security requirements.
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments on firewall infrastructure.
- Implement changes to the security infrastructure in a controlled
- and planned manner.
- Monitor network performance bandwidth utilization and resource availability.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate network documentation
- including configurations diagrams and procedures.
- Act as a point of contact for Level1 support technicians offering
- guidance and expertise in troubleshooting.
- Investigate and resolve networkrelated issues providing timely and effective solutions.
- Perform root cause analysis for incidents related to Nokia routers
- and implement preventive measures.
- Document incident details actions taken and resolutions for
- future reference and analysis.
- Conduct routine maintenance activities including firmware
- upgrades patch management and system optimizations.
- Ensure network security measures are in place and aligned with
- industry best practices and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including Systems
- Administrators Security Analysts and Application Developers to
- support integrated solutions.
