Job Description

Must Have

Technical/Functional Skills

MUST HAVE

1. Design changes Design assessment to improve product performance. Support to

prototype build & test

2. Design document and build required test fixturing or support components.

3. Validates design through calculations and functional tests. Develop test plans.

Perform & support relevant tests in the lab.

4. BoM review & updates SAP activities. ECM MCN process for document revision

& update

5. Develop 3D components & manufacturing drawing using AutoCAD/ NX/

SolidWorks

6. Ensures the compliance with product environments hazardous area approval

standards safety regulations and product certifications.

7. Provides design data to the Sustaining and Technical Regulations and Standards

sections to assist in product validation and certifications.

8. Conduct cost comparisons and feasibility studies on mechanical components such

as sheet metal castings machined components standoffs and electromechanical

components to help identify potential MCO projects.

9. Handson tools like AutoCAD 3D modelling UG NX software

NICE TO HAVE

o Provides design data to the Sustaining and Technical Regulations and Standards

sections to assist in product validation and certifications.
