HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver

We have an exciting opportunity for HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver to join our client, a market leader in the Waste Management industry based in Sittingbourne, Swale on a temporary on-going basis with permanent opportunities available for the right candidates.

Shifts:

Monday to Friday 6:30AM -2:30PM/finish

Pay rate:

14.97 per hour

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Class 2 Driver Refuse Loader, you will be responsible for operating a refuse collection vehicle and assisting with the loading and disposal of waste and recyclable materials from designated areas. Working as part of a team, you will ensure efficient waste collection and adherence to safety regulations.

• Collecting General Waste/Recycling and Food waste from Residential properties within the Sittingbourne Area
• You will be working with a team of loaders whose primary role is to ensure the vehicle is loaded, as a driver you will be required on occasions to assist with the loading
• Your primary role is to drive, and ensure the vehicle is driven safely.
• Work is an ongoing temporary placement and will be booked on a week-by-week booking

About you:

• Valid UK Driving licence, CPC and Digi Tachograph
• Reliable and Punctual
• Prior experience an advantage but not essential
• Newly qualified drivers welcome.
