Job Description: Estimator with TxDOT Experience

Hey there! Were searching for an Estimator with at least 3 years of experience working with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and familiarity with HCSS HeavyBid. If you thrive on crunching numbers and have a knack for estimating construction costs accurately you might just be the perfect fit for our team.

What Youll Do:

1. Estimate Like a Pro: Put your skills to the test by preparing accurate and detailed estimates for construction projects with a focus on TxDOT standards and requirements.
2. Know the TxDOT Game: With your experience working on TxDOT projects youre already familiar with their processes specifications and bidding procedures. You know what it takes to navigate the TxDOT landscape and come out on top.
3. HCSS HeavyBid Guru: If youre wellversed in HCSS HeavyBid youre already ahead of the game. Use your expertise to streamline our estimating process and produce competitive bids that win us projects.
4. Collaborate and Communicate: Work closely with our project managers engineers and subcontractors to gather all the necessary information for your estimates. Communication is key make sure everyones on the same page and deadlines are met.
5. Continuous Improvement: Were always looking for ways to improve. Use your analytical skills to review past projects identify areas for improvement and refine our estimating processes for future success.

What You Need:

• TxDOT Experience: Youve spent at least 3 years working on TxDOT projects so you know the ins and outs like the back of your hand.
• HCSS HeavyBid Proficiency: Youre comfortable using HCSS HeavyBid to prepare estimates quickly and accurately. Bonus points if youve got advanced skills in other estimating software too.
• Attention to Detail: Youre meticulous when it comes to numbers and details nothing gets past you.
• Team Player: You thrive in a collaborative environment and know how to work effectively with a variety of team members.
• Time Management Skills: You can juggle multiple projects and deadlines without breaking a sweat.
• ProblemSolving Abilities: When challenges arise youre ready to roll up your sleeves and find creative solutions.
