As a heavy equipment operator you are responsible for operating large machinery such as skid steer loader forklift front end loader bob cat etc while maintaining general housekeeping in the plant by loading / handling operation and removal of residual plant waste.

What you will do:

• Uses hand tools to perform cleanup duties such as sweeping and shoveling waste piles in solid fuel yard and cleaning roofs and tops of bins.
• Operates fuel handling and conveyor system to unload solid fuels from rail cars and truck hopper trailers.
• Safely operate heavy equipment to clean waste piles and spills.
• Move material using heavy equipment to various locations of the plant.
• Utilize water truck to prevent dust emissions.

Do you have the skills:

• Experience operating a skid steer loader forklift front end loader or other mobile equipment requiring hand controls.
• Competency to learn how to operate other various heavy equipment.
• Ability to use tools like picks shovels and wheelbarrows.
• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
• Ability to complete equipment inspections to ensure the safety of yourself and team.

Working Conditions

Works in all areas of the lime plant and includes but is not limited to; exposure to all weather conditions noise dust and extreme heat due to lime production process; exerts physical effort in walking climbing stooping bending carrying and using various tools.
