We are seeking a talented and dedicated Health & Social Care teacher to join a brilliant school in Harrow starting in April. Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and effective Health & Social Care lessons to students ranging from primary to secondary level.
  • Create and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the individual needs of students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing regular feedback and support.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment through effective classroom management and behaviour management techniques.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure the overall development and wellbeing of students.
  • Stay uptodate with the latest developments in the field of Health & Social Care education.
  • Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

Requirements

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Relevant degree in Health & Social Care or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Health & Social Care.
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum and assessment requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students colleagues and parents.
  • Effective classroom management skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic educational environment.
