Head of Research Development Chemical Engineering

On behalf of the hiring company that specialises in agriculturalrelated chemicals we are looking for a suitable candidate to join them as Research & Development (R&D) Head.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for the management of research and development business operations in Singapore including research management daily operational management achieving annual research and development goals and regularly reporting operational management to Headquarters.
   
2. Understand the latest technology of new products in the market organize relevant technology development activities expand overseas research and development cooperation platforms including collaboration with universities such as NUS and NTU institutions and industryleading enterprises organize technical cooperation and exchange activities seek technical partners and establish longterm cooperative relationships.
   
3. Organise the formulation of internal management structure and various basic management systems of overseas research and development unit and improve the internal management system.
   
4. Strictly comply with the laws regulations standards and various management systems and take technical leadership responsibility for occupational health and safety work.
   
5. Responsible for external relations including communication and coordination with local government and its institutions to establish a longterm stable business environment to develop R & Development unit in Singapore.
   

Requirements

1. Fulltime graduate education in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
   
2. Minimum 8 years of research and development work experience including more than 5 years of experience as a project leader.
   
3. Familiar with local policies and regulations in Singapore especially those related to the companys R&D activities.
   
4. Have a good level of influence in the industry with academic achievements or rich project experience.
   
5. Possesses strong ability in new technology innovation development and engineering transformation.
   
6. Strong insight into the technology market and ability in technical market analysis.
   
7. Identify with the companys values adhere to principles able to independently perform corporate management functions and possess the basic qualities of a professional manager.
   
8. Strong leadership skills and excellent interpersonal and social activity capabilities.
   
9. Proficient in English and Mandarin
