We are now looking for a Head of QA (f/m/d) with a focus on automated testing to join our team based in Vienna and support our growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5 QA Engineers build and develop their expertise in test automation and foster a learning culture.
• Drive forward the implementation of test automation and technologies.
• Create test strategies and plans with a focus on test automation for the development of our standard products as well as support for customerspecific software projects.
• Design implement monitor and update existing quality standards and guidelines as part of the software development lifecycle.
• Build test automation particularly within a cloud environment and in combination with CI/CD.
• Perform quality checks audits and assessments to identify and resolve potential hiccups and challenges and develop further quality metrics.
• Collaborate closely and communicate with our brilliant internal teams because teamwork makes the dream work!

Your profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related qualification.
• Demonstrated experience in leading QA teams with a focus on test automation.
• Indepth understanding of software development processes and best practices in test automation.
• Strong experience in developing and implementing quality standards and guidelines particularly in the context of test automation.
• Experience with test automation particularly within a cloud environment and in combination with CI/CD.
• Familiarity with common software development processes and methodologies.
• Analytical thinking and problemsolving skills.
• Good knowledge of agile development methodologies.
• Strong communication skills: English is a must German is an advantage.
• Understanding interest and curiosity in current IT topics along with continuous learning are important to you.
• Nice to have: ISTQB certification or equivalent.

Due to legal reasons we are obliged to disclose the minimum salary for this position which is as per the collective agreement 4100 gross per month based on fulltime employment (38.5 h/week). However the package will be based on your qualifications and experience.
