Terazo is a dynamic player in the communication IT industry specializing in building contact centers and a range of inbound and outbound communication tools. Our offerings cater to a diverse clientele including midsize and enterprise customers across various channels like voice SMS WhatsApp WebChat email and Facebook Messenger. With a global team of over 100 employees our EMEA division excels in Twilio platform integrations establishing ourselves as Europes leading systems integrator. At our core we are passionate product and service consultants embodying a handson startup mentality.

We are seeking a candidate to temporarily fill the role of our managing director who will be on parental leave starting April 2024. This position is open for interim applications ranging from 912 months as well as for candidates interested in a longterm engagement within our expanding organization.

Tasks

As Head of Sales & Delivery at Terazo EMEA you will play a pivotal role in steering our company through a significant period of growth and change. Your responsibilities will encompass a blend of sales and delivery reflecting the dynamic nature of our business. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of empowering clients with cuttingedge integrated technology solutions. You key areas of responsibility are:

  • Sales Leadership (60%)
  • Delivery Excellence (40%)

The following list of activities should give you a better idea of your daytoday activities:

  • Strategic Involvement: Play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of our regional operations ensuring alignment with our overall business goals.
  • Strategic Project Management: Conceptualize discuss and execute strategic projects focusing on the sales and delivery aspects of our product and professional services operations.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain trusting relationships with clients from initial meetings through to the deployment and support of the final product with explicit P&L responsibility across the organization.
  • Project Oversight: Monitor the status and progress of multiple delivery projects taking full ownership of project success and client satisfaction.
  • Client Communication and Presentation: Prepare lead and document client meetings and product presentations ensuring clear and effective communication.
  • Operational Leadership in Integration and Development: Work operationally on our integration and development projects including collecting and analyzing user requirements and translating these into actionable product and feature plans using delivery management methodologies (Agile Lean).
  • Technical Documentation and Design: Develop architecture and workflow documentation and prepare wireframes and mockups to guide project development.
  • Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with the engineering team to discuss technical solutions define timelines and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Quality Assurance: Test developed solutions and provide iterative feedback to the engineering team ensuring the end product meets our high standards of quality.

Requirements

  • Professional Experience: At least 46 years in roles such as professional services sales delivery management requirements engineering project management or IT/business consultancy preferably in a fastpaced highgrowth environment.
  • Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Business Administration Economics Mathematics Engineering Physics or a related field.
  • B2B Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in B2B sales with a strong track record in developing client relationships understanding customer needs and achieving sales targets.
  • Customer Delivery Management: Proven experience in managing customer deliveries ensuring successful deployments.
  • Requirements Gathering: Operational experience in conducting structured user research identifying customer needs and translating them into specific technical requirements.
  • Collaborative Skills: Experience facilitating collaboration among UI/UX designers product and project managers software developers and stakeholders.
  • Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with programmable platforms like Twilio Salesforce Zendesk MS Dynamics Zoho SugarCRM Freshdesk etc. is advantageous.
  • Technical Skills: Programming skills in languages such as Node.js React.js Next.js TypeScript are a plus.
