I am recruiting for a fantastic Head of HR & Culture role for a leading leisure and fitnessbrand based in The West Midlands

We are looking for a pragmatic handson and operational Head of HR & Culture with strong project management and multitasking skills to support the leadership team.

Reporting to the CEO and working with the Leadership team you will be responsible for maintaining the day to day running of the generalist HR team whilst also taking an active role in various ongoing projects and implementations to conclusion.

My client is a leisure operator with diverse sites across the West Midlands region. With over 500 staff (full time parttime and casuals) this is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional to work directly with the CEO and senior leadership team to help improve business performance and efficiency. My client is passionate about being an employer of choice and views this role as a pivotal position to help achieve this.

As a head of HR you will be reporting directly to the CEO. You will lead a small team and will have overall responsibility of the entire HR and people function. You will also be responsible for implementation of new systems and procedures.

You will also be expected to business partner with the CEO and other key members of the Senior Leadership team on key people issues business restructuring and overall people strategy.

What are we looking for

  1. An experienced HR Manager Senior HR Manager or Head of People with at least 5 years experience in a seniorHR managerial role.
  2. CIPD Level 5 or above
  3. Experience of implementing new systems and procedures to improve business efficiency and performance.
  4. Experience of working in the following sectors: Public sector councils leisure management Universities and education.
  5. Experience of presenting at board level writing board papers and working with multiple stakeholders
  6. Experience of dealing with TUPE process
