As the Head of Facilities youll lead initiatives to enhance our facilities by planning and executing programs aimed at improving operational efficiency and safety. Your leadership will ensure that the highest standards are met for our Residents and Team Members
What will your typical day involve
In this role youll be responsible for a wide array of duties. Including strategic planning where youll develop and implement plans aligned with organisational goals to enhance efficiency and costeffectiveness. Collaborating closely with care teams youll ensure exceptional service standards are maintained fostering a culture of continuous improvement in customer service. Overseeing daytoday operations and maintenance youll prioritise compliance with regulations implement preventative maintenance programmes optimise space utilisation and manage vendors effectively.
Additionally youll play a key role in budgeting and cost control managing department budgets while implementing strategies to minimise expenses without sacrificing quality.
Leading and supporting staff youll create a collaborative work environment focused on accountability and growth. Emergency preparedness will also be a priority as youll develop and maintain response plans to ensure safety during emergencies while also spearheading sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact through energy conservation and waste reduction.

Who are we looking for
The ideal candidate for this position will possess a Bachelors degree in facilities management engineering business administration or a related field along with proven experience in facilities management including leadership roles with increasing levels of responsibility. A strong understanding of building systems construction principles and relevant regulations and codes is essential.
Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills are vital for success in this role. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritise tasks is also essential.
Proficiency in computeraided facilities management (CAFM) software and other relevant technology tools is expected. Certification in facilities management such as CFM or FMP would be advantageous.
