Head of E-Money

Position Overview:
As the Head of E-Money, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our clients digital financial strategy; overseeing the development, implementation, and management of electronic money solutions that empower clients and enhance their financial experiences.
You will grow and lead a dedicated team, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and drive innovation, all while ensuring regulatory compliance and exceptional service standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute the digital financial strategy aligned with business goals - fostering innovation and differentiation in the e-money space.
Stay at the forefront of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to capitalise on opportunities and mitigate risks.
Team Management:
Grow, lead and mentor a high-performing team - fostering a culture of collaboration, learning and professional growth.
Provide clear direction and prioritise initiatives to achieve key business objectives.
Product Development and Management:
Identify, assess, and prioritise new e-money product opportunities based on market demand and competitive landscape.
Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept development to launch and ongoing optimisation.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure adherence to all relevant financial regulations, anti-money laundering (AML) requirements, and data security standards.
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to maintain licenses and approvals as required.
Partnership and Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (including technology, marketing, and operations) to align strategies and deliver seamless customer experiences.
Cultivate and manage relationships with external partners, regulators, and industry associations.
Performance and Analytics:
Establish performance metrics and KPIs to measure the success of e-money initiatives, and continuously analyse results for data-driven decision-making.
Drive data-driven insights to refine strategies, improve products, and enhance customer satisfaction.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Business, Economics or a related field
Proven experience (5+ years) in e-money, fintech, or digital financial services, with a significant portion in a management capacity
Strong track record of leading successful product development and implementation, ideally within the e-money domain
In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements governing electronic money and financial services in the UK and internationally
Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and build partnerships that drive growth
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a track record of developing and motivating teams
Remuneration:
This is a management-level position offering a competitive compensation package ranging from 100,000 to 150,000 p/a commensurate with experience and expertise.
