For our client one of the finest 4star hotels in Co. Waterford Ireland we are looking for an experienced Head
Chef.

Candidate information/requirements:
The Ideal candidate have 5 years of experience in same or similar position
The ideal candidate will have at additional a 2 years of experience working on weddings/events in a
restaurant/hotel environment or for a highend catering
Must be able to handle a multitude of tasks in an everchanging environment
HACCP Health and Safety and Food Safety Protocols knowledge
Extensive knowledge of menu development knowledge of both international and domestic dishes
Extensive knowledge of catering equipment and venue requirements
Irish experience is preferred
Good level of English is required

About the job:
Permanent fulltime position
If moving to Ireland from abroad you will be provided with permanent accommodation free of
charge. Utilities are paid.
Salary after tax in Ireland for this Head Chef role will be 3.450 € net per month (55.000 € gross;
before tax per year) for 40 45 hours per week.
Your duties will be: being in charge of setting the menus managing and organizing the team as well
as food costs and budgets overseeing and managing food preparation for a specific area of the
kitchen leading and supervising the quality /quantity of the food offered coordinate the production
monitor waste and overproduction utilizes leftovers and ensures proper rotation and quality control
