Job description:

• 8 years of professional experience working with Hadoop stack. Preferably with Cloudera CDH. Data bricks

• 5 years of professional experience supporting production Linux environment

• 35 years of scripting languages. Preferable python or bash. BS in Computer Science

• 10% travel required for meetings can work remotely.

• Preferred: Hadoop Administrator Certification

• Expert knowledge of Hadoop design principals cluster connectivity security and the factors that affect distributed system performance.

• Advanced handson Linux skill is a must. Understanding of shell debugging things etc. The candidate should be able to get their way around Linux and get things to work.

• Experience with performance tuning capacity planning and workload mapping

• Experience with handling job queues for multitenant environment with different level of priorities and SLAs.

• Experience with complex networking infrastructure including firewalls VLANs and load balancers.

• Experience in using automation tool such as Puppet and Chef

• Experience working on NoSQL and Search technologies

• Knowledge of best practices related to security performance and disaster recovery.

• Experience in Healthcare is a plus
