Hadoop Administration

Must Have Skills: Strong experience in Qlik Sense development.

Good To Have Skills: Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the administration of Hadoop clusters ensuring the smooth functioning of the Hadoop ecosystem.

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design build and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements.

Troubleshoot any issues that arise in the Hadoop ecosystem including performance issues capacity issues and other technical issues.

Ensure the security and integrity of the Hadoop ecosystem including data privacy and data protection measures.

Stay updated with the latest advancements in Hadoop Administration integrating innovative approaches for sustained competitive advantage.

Technical Experience:

Proficiency in Hadoop Administration.

Experience with Hadoop ecosystem components such as HDFS YARN MapReduce Hive Pig and HBase.

Experience with Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.

Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios Ganglia and Ambari.

Experience with backup and recovery strategies for Hadoop clusters.

Professional Attributes: Excellent Communication Skills

Educational Qualification: strong educational background in computer science or a related field
