Grower Success Coordinator North

• Provide training to all Quality Supervisors and picking teams on product quality and United Exports quality specifications.
  
• Monitor and ensure correct quality/maturity is being harvested.
  
• Assist Farm Managers in picking planning by providing them with quality information from the field.
  
• Ensure that United Exports Harvesting protocols are followed.
  
• Ensure that hygiene is maintained according to checklists.
  
• Ensure compliance and adherence to the industry regulations.
  
• Ensure and enforce compliance with the company s policies procedures and practices. Report any findings.
  
• Assist Product Quality team members in ensuring the fieldpacked product is according to United Exports and Customer Quality specifications.
  
• Ensure optimum Cold Chain management is maintained.
  
• Assist the Product Manager and Agronomy team if and when required with trials and innovations
  
• Schedule and manage farm visits including the InField QC s
  
• Collect MRL samples infield as per the sampling schedule and MRL protocol.
  
• Continuously build on client/customer knowledge to assist the commercial team with stock allocation and customer sampling
  

Requirements

• Senior certificate / Grade 12 / matric.
  
• Suitable tertiary qualification.
  
• Minimum 2 years of work experience.
  
  

• Computer literacy: MS Office (Excel Word PowerPoint)
  
• Technical knowledge of the fruit industry
  
• Experience working with Global Gap and Siza Audits
  
• Product knowledge soft fruit category
  
• Excellent communication skills; verbal and written.
  
• Excellent planning and organisational skills.
  
• Building and maintaining good interpersonal relationships.
  
• Detail and results orientated.
  
• Ability to act with tact and discretion.
  
• Ability to function independently.
  
• Ability to achieve deadlines whilst working under pressure
  
• Flexible and able to travel domestically valid drivers license
