We are looking for a talented professional with commercial & technical experience in Demand Side Response to help scale our grid services business globally.
In this role, you will be working to accelerate the decarbonization of transport and energy by expanding our Virtual Power Plant and making electric vehicles part of the solution for a smart, flexible, zero-carbon energy system.
Day to day, you ll be working to unlock and scale new flexibility contracts with energy utilities across Great Britain, California, Texas and other markets. You ll also work closely with the commercial, growth and engineering teams to help shape our technology roadmap and the product propositions we offer to EV drivers, energy networks, energy retailers, charger manufacturers and vehicle OEMs
This industry is moving fast, and this role will involve keeping up to date with key policy and regulation evolving in the EV and Net-Zero space. Reporting to the Head of Grid & Data Services, this position is fully remote, ideally positioned in the East Coast US, UK or Central Europe time zones. We have regular local meet-ups and quarterly company team weeks to keep everyone connected and supported.

Starting: Immediately
Location: Remotely based in the UK, US or Europe (please note you must have legal authorization to work in the country where you are based - we cannot sponsor visas at this time)
Annual Salary: 67,500 - 80,000 // US$107,000 - US$127,000
Equity: Share options equivalent of 37,800 or $51,700 - vested over 4 years
Electric Car Allowance*: > 7,500/yr // >$12,000/yr
Annual Leave: 25 days per year + national holidays
Benefits: Private medical insurance and 401(k)/pension, plus private dental, vision and life insurance for US-based employees
*The EV allowance provides for up to 10% additional base salary for you to put towards the costs of running or renting an electric vehicle. The purpose of the allowance is to further the reach of zero carbon transportation, but also to help us test our product.
