Green Coffee Quality Control Intern

Attesa Coffee is a startup specialty green coffee sourcing and distribution company headquartered in Amsterdam Netherlands. We work directly with producers at the origin to bring our customers (specialty coffee roasters) highquality coffees safely on time and consistently with the use of efficient digital frameworks. We believe in traceability through the chain and are highly committed to transparency towards all our stakeholders.

We are looking for a performancedriven individual with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn to join our team as a Green Coffee Quality Intern. This position is open not only to students but also to individuals who are passionate and aspiring about coffee. Tasks

• Work towards green coffee quality evaluation physical grading and cupping
• Facilitate / prepare cupping sessions to evaluate quality of coffees from various origins and
• Capture and maintain testing results / cupping feedback and provide regular feedback updates to sales and sourcing team
• Assist in roasting coffees on sample roaster and managing roast profiles
• Assist with preparation of product samples
• Oversee and manage the coffee sample database efficiently ensuring accurate and updated records.
• Assisting with preparation coffee sample packages in the office and dispatch to clients
• Work closely with the sourcing team towards selection and approval of various coffee lots
• Promote awareness of quality aspects related to coffees with internal colleagues
• Travel and represent Attesa Coffee towards clients and in global coffee fairs / events
• Previous experience as a barista or roaster is preferred.

Requirements

• We seek candidates who possess a deep enthusiasm for coffee preferably within the specialty coffee sector.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping purposes.
• A proactive attitude towards learning and acquiring new skills in the realm of green coffee quality control.
• Proficiency in English is essential while proficiency in other languages is considered advantageous.
• The applicant should already possess the legal right to work in the EU; we do not offer visa sponsorship.
