Required General Manager (GM) Service Automotive Industry

Location: Surat < Mumbai Indore Pune Hyderabad

Must have experience as a GM Service in the Automotive ( Car Dealership ) Industry

Overview:

As the General Manager of Service in the Automotive Industry you will oversee and lead the service operations of the company.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure exceptional customer service efficient operations
and profitable growth within the service department. You will manage a team
maintain high service standards and implement strategies to enhance overall customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

  • Lead mentor and manage a team of service advisors technicians and support staff.
  • Develop training programs and foster a positive work culture to ensure high team performance.
  • Set clear objectives and provide guidance to achieve service department goals.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee daytoday service operations ensuring smooth workflow and efficient service delivery.
  • Implement best practices for service processes including repair procedures quality control and customer handling.
  • Monitor and optimize service scheduling resource allocation and inventory management.

Customer Service and Satisfaction:

  • Uphold high standards of customer service addressing customer inquiries issues and feedback promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance loyalty and retention.
  • Implement strategies to continuously improve customer satisfaction and drive service revenue.

Financial Management:

  • Develop and manage the service department budget forecasting expenses and analyzing financial performance.
  • Implement costeffective measures while maintaining quality standards to maximize profitability.
  • Drive revenue growth through service sales upselling and effective pricing strategies.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations safety standards and company policies.
  • Implement quality control measures to guarantee the highest level of service and repair quality.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain service excellence.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Automotive Technology or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (5 years) in automotive service management with a track record of successful leadership and operational management.
  • Strong understanding of automotive service processes technical aspects and industry trends.
  • Excellent leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in budgeting financial analysis and strategic planning.
  • Ability to adapt to a fastpaced and evolving industry environment.
  • Certifications in automotive service management or relevant fields are advantageous.
