In Product Support we are taking care of our products in operation providing our customer best in class services for optimal efficiency and availability for their vessels.

Position Overview:

As a coordinator area at Berg Propulsion you will play a vital role in our journey to become a professional global provider of services in the marine industry. You will collaborate closely with cross functional teams at our headquarters as well as regional teams and offices to secure commonality and shared processes and practices to uphold quality standards and efficient operations. Your exceptional organisational and communication skills will be instrumental in establishing efficient ways of working and cooperation throughout our organisation. You will drive the operational activities to ensure we are rightsizing the support and service capabilities on a global scale. You will work closely with resources within the Product Support team ranging from Production through Sales and Technical support as well as Training.

Responsibilities:

  • You will lead and coordinate activities to ensure that our service units have right training competencies and tools as well as potential certificates to deliver exceptional services for our customers.
  • You will be instrumental in securing training and certification from our technology partners as well as key supsuppliers to uphold our required competence levels for providing services.
  • Develop and maintain quality standards and costefficient structure for our common service operations. This includes upholding skills and competence matrixes for employees as well as management of global tools inventory required for our service operations.
  • Monitor upcoming requirements for skills and experiences based on new configurations identify and mitigate risks and proactively address issues to ensure we have adequate competencies and efficient tools for timely and successful deliveries to our customers.
  • Track and report project performance metrics feedback analysis providing regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Continuously provide improve plans and corrective actions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness for the function.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant previous experience in managing or coordinating international teams and capabilities for delivery of services in industrial projects in maritime industry or a related field.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams and individuals from different cultures and countries to establish efficiencies across geographies and entities in a transparent way.
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities in highpace situations.
  • Familiarity with maritime industry and aftermarket services is a plus.
