Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Reliability Engineer to join Global Manufacturing Excellence organization under the Downstream Global Manufacturing Support Department (GMSD). GMSDs technical team is a multidisciplinary team provides the required high quality technical support to GM operating facilities (Refineries NGLF and petrochemical plants) inside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia & across the globe. Your primary role will be to identify and manage asset reliability risks that could affect plants operations. You will also required to develop (and/or adopt) and drive the implementation of asset reliability programs and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate and manage all reliability programs.
• Develop asset life strategies.
• Provide technical support to the operation team during the entire lifecycle of the plants major equipment analyzing their performances operative conditions and boundaries to ensure reliable and safe operations.
• Utilize knowledge and familiarity with international standards to improve equipment performance.
• Implement bestinclass solutions as outlined by international standards and other internal company standards.
• Lead efficiency improvement initiatives and upgrading programs.
• Generate and calculate asset KPIs for major equipment.
• Propose changes in operating modes technological improvements or maintenance strategy implementations to support the companys vision of continuous improvement through collaboration and communication.
• Utilize bestinclass monitoring tools (e.g. GE SMART SIGNAL SYSTEM ONE) and other maintenance & reliability tools (e.g. SAP iMOM GE MERIDIUM) to support decisions in case of failures or abnormal operating conditions.
• Provide technical support to the maintenance team to enhance preventive maintenance strategies checks predictive maintenance strategies and operationbased maintenance checks.

Requirements:

• This role required candidate to permanently relocate at Dhahran Saudi Arabia.
• Bachelors degree in engineering preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the reliability field.
• Strong knowledge of all reliability programs such as RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) RAM (Reliability Availability and Maintainability) FEMCA (Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analysis) Bad Actors analysis MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures) and more.
• Thorough knowledge of engineering practices and economic principles calculation methods design details and international codes standards and specifications.
• Familiarity with main investigation tools and techniques like FRACAS (Failure Reporting Analysis and Corrective Action System) RCA (Root Cause Analysis) and TAPROOT (a systematic process used to investigate and solve problems).
