We are looking for a General XRay Technologist to work in Iowa City IA supporting our client.

Contract Term: 6 months with the possibility of a 6 month extension


Start date: 4/1/24


End date: 9/30/24


Hourly rate: $46/ hour


Qualification:

  • Completion of a fulltime training course of at least 24 months in duration (or the equivalent) in a posthigh school diagnostic radiologic technology program evidenced by a certificate or an associate degree accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) or from other accrediting agencies as recognized by the Department of Education (DOE).

Certification:

  • Contractors DRTs shall be Xray Technologist certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and be currently certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • All continuing education courses required for maintaining certification must be kept up to date at all times.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Contractors DRTs shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the governments requirements including the ability to speak understand read and write English fluently. Contractor shall provide documents upon request of the CO/COR to verify current and ongoing competency skills certification and/or licensure related to the provision of care treatment and/or services performed.

Schedule:

  • General Xray Technologist: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • General Xray Technologists will work eighthour shifts with possible start times ranging between 7:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.
