General Operations Manager - Manufacturing

• Ability to manage people including 7 direct reports and 450 indirect reports
  
• Decision maker and problem solver
  
• Understanding of the BCEA and Labour relations including dealing with trade unions
  
• General commercial decisionmaking abilities
  
• Experience in optimizing production processes
  
• Sage X3 or similar ERP system experience specifically around stock management and control
  
• Stock take management abilities in an ERP environment
  
• Capex management and control
  
• Experience interacting with retail customer base at NPD and production level
  
• Management of NPD process and teams led by NPD Manager
  
• Management of QC process and teams led by QC manager
  

Requirements

• Suitable tertiary education for a production/management role
  
• Minimum 5 years management experience in a FMCG/perishable/frozen manufacturing environment
  
• Minimum 5 years production management experience
