Job Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed the companys sales objectives.
2. Team Management: Recruit train and manage a team of sales professionals providing guidance support and motivation to maximize their performance.
3. Sales Target Setting: Set ambitious but achievable sales targets for the team and monitor their progress regularly.
4. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities market trends and potential areas for growth.
5. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction with the companys products or services.
6. Budget Management: Develop and manage the sales department budget ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently and effectively to achieve sales goals.
7. Performance Evaluation: Evaluate the performance of the sales team regularly providing feedback and implementing necessary training and development programs.
8. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as marketing product development and finance to ensure a coordinated approach to achieving overall company goals.
9. Sales Reporting: Prepare regular sales reports and present them to the executive team highlighting achievements challenges and proposed solutions.
10. Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies industry regulations and ethical standards in all sales activities.
Job Requirements:
1. Education: A bachelors or masters degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronic Engineering
2. Experience: Several years of progressive experience in sales management with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
3. Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team to achieve their goals.
4. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities to assess complex sales data and market trends.
5. Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with clients and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
6. Strategic Thinking: A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and implement innovative sales strategies to stay ahead in a competitive market.
7. ResultDriven: A strong focus on achieving results and driving the sales team towards excellence and continuous improvement.
8. Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the industry market trends and customer needs to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
9. DecisionMaking Skills: Strong decisionmaking skills to address challenges and make effective and timely decisions to drive the sales departments success.
10. Networking: A strong network of industry contacts and the ability to leverage these relationships for the benefit of the companys sales efforts.
