GENERAL MANAGER

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a leading brand in the food and beverage industry in Ghana and Africa.


Scope


The General Manager will manage company staff ensure staff compliance and adherence to the organization s policies maintain accurate records prepare management reports and


Key Responsibilities


  • Maintain accurate records and responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet budgetary controls.
  • Manage the manufacturing element of the organization ensuring highquality business activities with maximum efficiency service and profitability for the organization.
  • Ensure that the team understands that the organization s function and achievements are reflected in all its operations and activities including relationships and risk management.
  • Manage direct and monitor the overall performance of the sourcing of green beans and manufacturing marketing and sales.
  • Develop plans for the organization s progress and growth and oversee the development of plans for the organization to achieve targets.
  • Assist the Line Manager in achieving maximum customer satisfaction in accordance with organization plans.
  • Ensure compliance with related manufacturing legal/statutory regulations professional duties responsibilities and obligations e.g. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Best Practice Guidelines and ISO certification.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the organization and the team.
  • Contribute to the training and development of the company team.
  • Maintain and improve mechanisms for manufacturing and all organization activities including surveying and measuring the sourcing and manufacturing operations process outcomes and profitability and disseminate feedback to the appropriate authority and internal entities.
  • Develop plans for team activities to include strategies to achieve targets.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of the business strategy and general business planning of the organization as a whole.
  • Establish relationships and cooperate with all members of the organization its suppliers and customers.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor s degree in Business Administration or Business Management Logistics and Supply Chain Management or any related field of study.
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role or its equivalent.
  • Proficiency in French is an added advantage.
  • Aptitude for process management and customer/supplier relationship management.
  • Excellent organization and presentation skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office Suite and Windows OS.
