Black & Grey HR is recruiting for a client who is a food processing company based in Baghdad, Iraq. Our client is looking to hire aGeneral Manager who will be responsible foroverseeing many operations related to the manufacture and distribution of goods and handles hiring employees, and developing team-building strategies.


-To challenge and lead financialcommercial aspects of the business and ownership of existing and new business models.
-Deliver profitability analysis at product level and linkage to commercial decisions.
-Provide commercial input into business reviews and potential opportunities
-Identification of opportunity costs and efficiency opportunities and implement within authority levels
-To interact with higher management for reporting on Plant Performance, constraints faced and improvement avenues
-To implement decisions to improve the manufacturing cost structure of the company
-Ensure financial integrity with strict compliance to local statutory, regulatory, legislative and tax requirements.

Requirements

-10+ years of experience in FMCG companies
-Bachelor s degree is preferred
-Technically qualified professional preferably with Production Engineering knowledge, self-starter, innovative, excellent people management, interpersonal communication skills.
-Must have experience in commercial background
-Have ability to build trust and establish high value, long-term relationships with existing, new Buyers and Vendors.
-Establishing building business contacts with clients.
-Expert knowledge in Product Development, Costing, Quality Assurance, Customer Coordination, Production on time delivery with required financial controls.
-Must be able to communicate in both Arabic and English
