General Manager - Fintech

We re looking for a General Manager (based in Riga, Latvia or Oslo, Norway) to lead the commercial growth of the Digital Issuing business in MeaWallet.

Tasks

The General Manager will play a key role in managing the Digital Issuing unit (Product, Customer Success and Sales) and a special focus on directly managing the sales team to drive revenues, partnerships, and marketing.

This is a role that will be core to MeaWallet and our growth, we are looking for a commercially minded individual that has a strong understanding of partnerships and product.

• Manage the Business Unit
• Drive the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy for the issuing products in MeaWallet
• Manage the commercial organization
• Responsible for delivering on the revenue goals for the unit
• Develop, maintain and expand relationships with key partners and industry stakeholders
• Develop and expand the commercial and marketing team
• Be an active part of the BU management team and drive the focus of the unit towards market needs
• Responsible for the commercial long-term strategy of the business unit

Requirements

Ideally, you will have experience with the following topics/domains:

• Most preferable: Experience in commercial and BU leadership roles in FinTechs or SaaS companies. Good understanding of commercializing technology driven products through partners.
• Preferable: Card issuing, mobile wallets/mobile payments, card processing, card payments
• Alternatively: Tech startup, eCommerce, acquiring bank, 3DSecure, mPOS, MDES, VTS, EMV tokenization, Apple Pay, Google Pay

This role is open for relocation to Latvia for the right candidate, with payment issuing experience.
