They are in a niche area of commerce and industry that will require experience from a candidate who has worked in Manufacturing, Distribution in a business of less than 20 employees

Duties:

Take control of an established business and continue to grow the market

Keep the strategy and control of the business on track and upwards

Be a key figurehead for company sales and finance

Manage the daily operations in the different departments

Always remain hands on

Manage a small team of departmental specialists

Work closely with the non-executive board

Keep a tight reign on external suppliers and partners

Ensure, storage and distribution functions run smoothly

Market the business to key verticals and develop sales

Drive growth

Negotiate with suppliers, logistics partners and customers

Recruit new staff to run effectively with increased turnover

Work closely with inhouse and external finance professionals

Requirements

Candidate requirements:

A proven leader and current / previous MD of an SME

Have a passion for growing small businesses

Comfortable in a hands on business. Muck in approach

You should ideally be from a manufacturing and distribution background

Great passion for marketing and advertising

Good academic qualifications
