Position Summary: Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Construction General Laborer with successful and progressive experience in performing various manual tasks associated with construction operations.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• The successful candidate shall have a minimum of 1 to 3 years of construction experience.
  
• To be eligible for consideration all applicants must possess a valid Drivers License.
  
• FDOT specifications experience required.
  
• Capable of heavy lifting climbing balancing stooping kneeling crawling crouching and reaching
  
• Must have good vision stamina handeye coordination and ability to estimate size and dimensions.
  
• Must be able to meet all safety requirements and applicable safety policies.
  
• Able to work outdoors in dusty or dirty areas.
  
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
  
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and achieve goals.
  
• Adaptive to different personalities and management styles
  
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
  
• Dedicated and hardworking
  

Responsibilities:

• Must understand and comply with all Company safety policies and procedures.
  
• Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
  
• Excavate by hand ditches or trenches backfill excavations or compact and level earth to grade specifications using picks shovels pneumatic tampers or rakes.
  
• Position join align or seal structural components such as concrete wall sections or pipes.
  
• Load unload or identify building materials machinery or tools distributing them to the appropriate locations according to project plans or specifications.
  
• Position or dismantle forms for pouring concrete using saws hammers etc.
  
• Complete equipment reports on rack truck compressors.
  
• Must have knowledge and understanding of the procedures to use the tools and equipment safely and properly.
  
• Organize and maintain tool trailers in a neat and orderly fashion.
