GCP Architect

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement GCP infrastructure and solutions to meet business and technical requirements.
• Optimize GCP services to maximize performance and costefficiency.
• Ensure the security and compliance of GCP environments and applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate GCP services into applications.
• Provide technical guidance and support for GCPrelated initiatives.
• Implement and manage GCP data storage databases and data pipelines.
• Design and implement GCP networking and connectivity solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot GCP infrastructure and services.
• Automate GCP resource provisioning configuration and orchestration.
• Implement best practices for GCP resource management and governance.
• Stay updated with GCP services features and best practices.
• Lead GCP architectural discussions and decisions with stakeholders.
• Participate in GCP migration transformation and modernization projects.
• Conduct performance analysis and optimization of GCP environments.
• Document GCP architectures designs and processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Professional certifications in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) such as Professional Cloud Architect Professional Data Engineer or Professional Cloud Security Engineer.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing GCP solutions and architectures.
• Proficiency in GCP services including Compute Engine Kubernetes Engine BigQuery Dataflow Pub/Sub Firestore Cloud Storage and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
• Strong understanding of cloud computing principles architectures and best practices.
• Experience in cloud security identity and access management on GCP.
• Knowledge of networking VPC VPN and CDN configurations on GCP.
• Expertise in GCP data management storage and database services.
• Handson experience with GCP automation and deployment tools such as Deployment Manager and Terraform.
• Proficient in scripting and programming languages such as Python Java or Go for GCP automation and development.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex GCP infrastructure and application issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders.
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies and challenges.
• Experience in architecting and migrating onpremises applications to GCP is a plus.
• Understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines on GCP.
