Key Responsibilities:
Clean and sanitize all surfaces equipment and utensils in the galley following established cleaning procedures onboard the cruise ship
Assist with food preparation and plating when needed
Properly store and rotate food supplies to ensure freshness and prevent waste
Assist with loading and unloading of food and supplies
Dispose of waste and garbage in accordance with company policies and regulations
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages to the kitchen manager
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
Assist with other duties as assigned by the kitchen manager
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment and sanitation procedures
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to pass a preemployment physical and drug test
