GAIC Business Analyst

The Business Analyst provides strategic analysis services to business and delivery partners. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer s business strategy, processes, services, roadmap, the context in which the business operates, and translate them into technology requirements. The Business Analyst is responsible for reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end, to identify and address operational and tec hnological risks. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency. Business analysts often are custodians of business requirements and product road maps, and act as a liaison between the customer teams and delivery teams.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

# Producin g required project documentation (business requirements, scope matrix, use cases, sequence diagrams, UATplan).

# Collaborate closely with developers to implement the requirements, provide necessary guidance to testers during QA process.

SPECIALIZATION

# Should have 10-12 years of experience as Business Analyst with strong expertise in P&C Commercial Lines Insurance domain

# Should have knowledge on Duck Creek Policy Administrations System application

# Should have knowledge on Commercial Proper ty, General Liability, Commercial Inland Marine and so on

# Good communication skills and Stakeholder management

# Excellent documentation and presentation skills

# Strong experience in requirements elicitation, user story use case development and knowledge of working in requirements modelling tools

# Should have knowledge on working in Agile methodology

# Good to have knowledge on ISO requirements for different coverages and forms applicable for Commercial Lines products

# Should have worked across various SDLC stages of client engagements with Agile methodologies

# Insurance Industry certifications # AINS, AICPCU etc.

# Nice to have work experience on AMS projects

# Should be able to clearly articulate requirements in BRDs

# Should be able to clarify requirement related doubts from the team

# Should be able to provide application demos to different client stakeholders"
