Your missions

As a fund accoutant private equity you report to the Financial Reporting Manager :

The primary purpose of this role is to conduct the daytoday accounting activities for various fund structures under the guidance of a Financial Reporting Manager.

This position is a great opportunity to:

• Manage the accounting for a diverse range of funds management companies and associated fund structures and engage with clients and intermediaries as required.
• Handle all aspects of accounting tasks for a portfolio of fund structures which includes preparing reconciling and verifying investor reports statutory financial statements and addressing adhoc investor inquiries.
• Address routine audit queries promptly.
• Prepare regular bank reconciliations and furnish supporting documentation to substantiate transactions.
• Maintain precise records on eFront and Microsoft Excel working paper schedules for all accounting aspects.
• Handle the preparation and reconciliation of periodic direct and indirect tax returns.
• Serve as a mentor to junior team members operating under the supervision of senior staff.

Your ideal profile

• Possess a relevant degree in Accounting Economics or Finance (Bachelors or Masters degree).
• Demonstrate a minimum of 3 to 5 years of prior experience as an Experienced Fund Accountant.
• Ideally the candidate should be pursuing a relevant professional qualification with a preference for having started the ACCA Professional level or ACA Advanced level.
• Proficiency in computer literacy is a fundamental requirement
