Job Summary:
As a Full Stack GIS Specialist you will be responsible for developing and maintaining GIS software applications that enable the collection analysis and visualization of geospatial data. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to design implement and integrate GIS solutions that meet the needs of the organization or clients. This role requires a strong understanding of GIS principles database management and full stack development technologies.
Responsibilities:
1. Develop and maintain GIS software applications including both frontend and backend components.
2. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and design GIS solutions that address business needs.
3. Design and implement spatial databases to store and manage geospatial data effectively.
4. Develop APIs and web services to integrate GIS functionality into existing systems or applications.
5. Create interactive webbased mapping applications using GIS libraries and frameworks.
6. Conduct geospatial data analysis and provide insights to support decisionmaking processes.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GIS software data integrity and performance.
8. Stay updated with emerging GIS technologies and trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance GIS capabilities.
9. Document software design development processes and user guides for GIS applications.

Requirements:
1. Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science GIS Geomatics or a related field.

3. Proficiency in GIS software and technologies including ArcGIS QGIS PostGIS Leaflet OpenLayers or Mapbox.
4. Strong understanding of geospatial data formats (e.g. shapefiles GeoJSON KML) and spatial databases (e.g. PostgreSQL MySQL MongoDB).
5. Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML CSS JavaScript and popular frameworks like React Angular or Vue.js.
6. Experience with RESTful APIs web services and serverside development frameworks (e.g. Flask Django Node.js).
7. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and agile development methodologies.
8. Analytical and problemsolving skills for data analysis data modeling and performance optimization.
