Problem Statement:
In India we have a lot of different crops but our farmers dont have much land. This makes it tough for them to get the right farming supplies at the right time. The brickandmortar supply chain has problems like having limited products too much inventory in stock and working capital high returns and not being able to give farmers what they need when they need it.
Over 40000 MSME agriinputs manufactures rely on this data dark supply chain but it hurts their profits.
Whats Agrim doing
In a perfect world we would take products from the manufacturers and deliver them directly to the farmers like how Swiggy and Zomato deliver food.
But its too expensive to do that for farmers. Plus farmers also need advice on farming which requires local knowledge. So were creating a platform for local shops that farmers trust.
Were making a system where stores can get the farming supplies they need justintime.
We offer a big selection of 20000 products to these stores which is way better than other options.
We use technology to keep our costs low stay assetlight and make sure we can reach every part of the country. Were focused on making things better bit by bit and letting compounding do the magic.
How We Build Stuff:
At Agrim were currently in a phase where our product is taking the lead. Weve successfully found a match between what we offer and what the market needs (90% repeat customers) and our business is fitting well in the market (500 crore in Annual Recurring Revenue).
To make sure were on the right track were assembling a team of topnotch software engineers and architects. Theyre the ones laying down the technical foundation for our upcoming growth.
We strongly believe in the idea that simplicity is key. Our main goal is to create products that truly benefit our customers and sellers. Before launching anything new our business teams test their ideas with stakeholders and try them out offline for a while. This helps us prioritize features and products based on their impact. Thanks to this approach our product and engineering teams work with great discipline. In fact were proud to say that in our threeyear history we havent gotten rid of any piece of code!
When it comes to noncore products were not afraid to look outside for solutions. Our inhouse team focuses solely on building the essential core products.
We also believe in keeping our engineering team a reasonable size. Zerodha achieved a lot with just 33 engineers. We aim to follow suit and reach our goals with fewer than 30 worldclass engineers as we grow.
Role
We seek a skilled Frontend Developer with at least 3 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing customerfacing applications in the product and ecommerce domains. As a Frontend Developer you will be responsible for designing and implementing intuitive and responsive user interfaces using React Native framework.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain highquality mobile applications using React Native framework.
- Collaborate with product managers designers and backend developers to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Implement clean efficient and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Ensure the responsiveness and performance of applications across various devices and screen sizes.
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot & debug issues and provide timely resolution to technical problems.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development particularly in the mobile app domain.
- Participate in architectural design discussions and contribute ideas for improving product quality and development processes.
- Collaborate with QA engineers to develop comprehensive test plans and ensure the robustness of the applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in computer science Engineering or related field from a toptier institution in India.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in frontend development with a focus on React Native.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript ES6/ES7 and TypeScript.
- Experience working on customerfacing mobile applications in the product and ecommerce domains.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
- Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux or MobX.
- Familiarity with version control systems particularly Git.
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Android development is a plus.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of GraphQL and its implementation in React Native applications.
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles and ability to work closely with designers.
- Contributions to opensource projects or active involvement in the developer community.
NOTE : This role is work from office (WFO) in Sector66 Gurugram Haryana.
