QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 21
  • At least a high school diploma
  • At least two (2) years experience preferred
  • Able to pass required background checks physical and drug screen
  • Have a sensitivity and commitment to serving a culturally diverse population
  • Have a commitment to continuous quality improvement as it relates to organizational development and service delivery
  • Broad range of skills including communication skills working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic office equipment as well as the ability to multitask and multimanage projects

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The Receptionist /Administrative Assistant shall:

  • Manage the front desk at Bashor Childrens Home as needed including answering agency phone greeting and assisting the public copying and faxing
  • Maintain mail room and lobby appearance
  • Coordinate agency mail as needed which could include picking up dropping off and distributing mail
  • Prepare agency correspondence completing reports organizing data and data entry as well as record keeping.

ASSIGNED RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the Executive Administrative Assistant Finance Director and other departments such as maintenance and food service.
  • Duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate and necessary.
