We are seeking a passionate and qualified French Teacher to join our dedicated team at RBK International School. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching French at the IGCSE level a commitment to student success and a proactive approach to pedagogy.
**Responsibilities:**
1. **Curriculum Delivery:**
Plan and deliver engaging and interactive French lessons in accordance with the IGCSE curriculum.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience.
2. **Assessment and Feedback:**
Develop and administer assessments to evaluate students language proficiency and understanding of French grammar vocabulary and culture.
Provide timely and constructive feedback to students helping them identify areas for improvement and supporting their language development.
3. **Classroom Management:**
Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom culture conducive to effective learning.
Implement discipline strategies that promote a respectful and collaborative learning environment.
4. **Professional Development:**
Stay abreast of the latest developments in language education and incorporate best practices into teaching methodologies.
Participate in professional development opportunities and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall quality of language instruction at RBK International School.
**Qualifications:**
Bachelors degree in French or a related field; Masters degree is a plus.
Teaching certification or qualification.
Proficiency in English and French.
Previous experience teaching French at the IGCSE level is highly desirable.
**Skills and Attributes:**
Passion for teaching and a genuine interest in students academic and personal development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and timemanagement abilities.
Technologically literate with the ability to integrate technology into the teaching and learning process.
