Job Description:

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Broker to join our team. As a Freight Broker you will be responsible for managing the transportation needs of our clients by coordinating the movement of goods from one location to another. You will work closely with carriers shippers and receivers to ensure timely and costeffective delivery of goods.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain relationships with carriers shippers and receivers

Negotiate rates and contracts with carriers to ensure competitive pricing

Coordinate the movement of goods from pickup to delivery including tracking and tracing shipments

Monitor carrier performance and resolve any issues that may arise

Keep uptodate with industry trends and changes in regulations

Provide excellent customer service to clients by promptly addressing any concerns or inquiries

Maintain accurate records of shipments rates and contracts

Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service delivery

Qualifications:

Strong negotiation and communication skills

Knowledge of transportation regulations and industry trends

Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment

Proficient in using transportation management software and Microsoft Office

Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail
