We are a worldwide leading provider of laser beam projection displays that enable tech giants from Silicon Valley to Asia to unlock their next Augmented Reality revolution.

To successfully continue our growth ambitions we are looking for a

FPGA ENGINEER (fulltime)
(f/m/d)

Tasks

Your responsibilities:

  • Converting a computer vision and/or image signal processing algorithm into an FPGA implementation using System Verilog and Xilinx/Altera toolchains
  • Optimizing FPGAs for timing closure
  • Defining interface requirements for FPGAs in an imaging system context
  • Building vendorneutral FPGA/RTL designs intended to prototype ASIC implementations
  • Collaborating in a team environment across multiple engineering disciplines
  • Specification implementation and testing of FPGA based real time video processing architectures
  • Contribution to technical documentation
  • Communication with external industry partners on a technical level

Requirements

Your qualifications:

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering or related discipline
  • Profound experience in modular FPGA and system architecture definition and design
  • Profound experience in Xilinx/Altera parts tool chains Verilog or VHDL
  • Knowledge of C for hardware bring up
  • Experience in other languages like Python
  • Excellent English language skills knowledge of German language considered as a plus
