Tasks

As a founding engineer you should be selfmotivated and passionate about joining an earlystage startup tackling a massive market. Were looking for people who want to have large ownership and work closely with customers to build products that theyll love.

Youll be working with the founder and CEO and will design and implement our highscale dataintensive platform.

We are looking for someone who is an autodidact thinks before coding ambitious independent resultsdriven dataoriented organised and a team player. You will thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and be able to operate strategically while also focusing on the details to achieve your goals.

Requirements

• 3 years experience in designing and implementing serverside Data solutions.
• Bachelors degree in computer science data science software engineering information systems or a similar field (preferable not necessary)
• 5 years of programming experience preferably in Python and SQL.
• Experience implementing algorithmic solutions data mining techniques and analytical methodologies to extract insights from complex datasets.
• Strong experience in extracting ingesting and transforming large datasets efficiently and accurately.
• Proficiency in working with various types of databases (relational document storage keyvalue timeseries) including a deep understanding of their query languages and when to utilise each type effectively.
• Handson experience working within the AWS ecosystem including AWS S3 Glue EMR Redshift and Athena.
• Ability to use orchestration frameworks such as Airflow Kubernetes and Docker Swarm to manage and automate data workflows effectively.
• Familiarity with Data Lake architectures and Apache Spark is advantageous.
• Experience utilising enterprise data warehousing systems such as Redshift or Snowflake to store and analyse large datasets.
• Familiarity with tools such as Kafka DataBricks and Jenkins is advantageous for building robust data pipelines.
• Experience working with various database engines including ElasticSearch Redis Postgres and MySQL is highly desirable.
