Job Description
Join a fast growing opensource devtools startup with repeat founders and YC backing:
At Nango (YC W23) we have developed an opensource platform dedicated to product integrations. Its a developer tool crafted by engineers for engineers seamlessly connecting software solutions.
We are looking for our founding customer success engineer who will play a key role in making our customers successful with the Nango platform.
By joining us you will collaborate intimately with our two founders & founding engineers across all facets of our startup. You will also be stepping into a wellfunded seedstage startup environment.
Tasks
- You own our customers success with the Nango platform
- As the first hire in our customer success organization you build the foundation for our success team and report directly to the CEO
- You help our customers research external APIs architect their integrations on Nango work with engineers on implementing them and help customers launch their integrations on Nango
- You are the foremost expert on our most popular external APIs and integrations. You build strong relationships with these API partners.
- You work closely with the engineering team to implement custom integrations for customers
- You work closely with the cofounder & CEO to accelerate PoCs of prospects
- You bring the voice of the customer to product roadmap discussions and work directly with the engineering team to unblock customers
Requirements
- You are located in the US Canada or Europe (EST to GMT2 time zones)
- 5 years of experience in technical customer facing roles: Technical consulting solutions architect or similar experience.
- Excellent communication skills in english in writing on video calls and during inperson interactions
- You excel at building deep relationships with highly technical customers
- You are highly organized detailoriented and easily juggle many concurrent projects. You feel at home in a fastpaced startup environment
- Deep understanding of web technologies (HTTP) web APIs (REST webhooks SOAP GraphQL) and modern backend architectures
- Strong technical background as a software engineer or similar experience. You are comfortable speaking eye to eye with a senior software engineer on API technologies.
- You are comfortable writing integrations on Nango yourself (Typescript) debugging them and working with the entire software engineering toolchain
- A genuine passion for APIs integrations and working with software engineers is a strong plus
- Bonus: Past experience in an earlystage or developertool startup
