Tasks

As a Founder Associate you will enjoy a high degree of independence and ownership serving as the righthand and sparring partner to our two founders. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing company reporting and managing our claims & reimbursement segment.
  • Supporting investor relations e.g. preparing and conducting board meetings
  • Taking charge of daily operations gaining firsthand experience in building a successful product and establishing an organization from the ground up.
  • Collaborating with the team on various strategic product marketing operational and financerelated tasks from initial concept to implementation.
  • Hiring necessary support to manage and complete specific tasks and projects once they reach a certain stage of development and reallocating your efforts to other areas as needed.

Onboarding:
Your onboarding process will involve shadowing the founders during their meetings and accessing their information to gain a comprehensive understanding of every role and function within the company. Based on your specific skill set we will assign you to suitable projects. We believe this position offers one of the most intensive CEO/Founder training experiences available.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a highgrowth venturebacked startup top management consultancy or investment bank.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a handson approach.
  • Strong organizational abilities.
  • A flexible generalist mindset and proficiency in using MSOffice or the Google Suite.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in both German and English.
  • Based in Berlin.

Preferred Skills:
While not mandatory having the following skills would be advantageous:

  • Strong financial modeling skills.

Our Process

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Our hiring process consists of four stages which can be completed within two weeks:

  1. Get to know each other: This initial conversation is an opportunity for us to introduce you to Apryl and ensure your enthusiasm about joining our team. Well also assess whether our expectations align. This interview will be conducted by Tobias CoFounder & COO.
  2. Case study: You will engage in a case study that evaluates how you structure analyze and communicate around a given topic. This discussion will take place with Tobias.
  3. Final conversation: In this stage youll have a conversation with Jenny CoFounder and CEO to delve deeper into the role your values your impressions from the previous interviews and any questions or thoughts you have.
  4. Reference calls: Jenny and Tobias will conduct brief 15minute reference calls with two of your former direct supervisors. Please provide the contact information for these references in your application.
