Overview:
The position of Focus Group Studies plays a crucial role in gathering qualitative data and insights from targeted audiences to inform decisionmaking processes within the organization. The individual in this role will be responsible for designing implementing and analyzing focus group studies to support product development marketing strategies and customer engagement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify research objectives and develop study designs for focus group sessions
- Recruit suitable participants based on demographic and psychographic criteria
- Facilitate focus group discussions and conduct interviews to elicit valuable feedback
- Analyze qualitative data to identify key themes and insights
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing study findings
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to integrate study findings into actionable recommendations
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in qualitative research methods
- Ensure ethical considerations and data privacy regulations are adhered to throughout the research process
- Manage project timelines and budgets for focus group studies
- Utilize various research tools and software to conduct and analyze focus group studies
- Conduct poststudy evaluations to assess the impact and effectiveness of research initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Psychology Sociology Marketing Business or a related field
- Proven experience in designing and conducting focus group studies or qualitative research projects
- Demonstrated ability to extract actionable insights from qualitative data
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in qualitative data analysis software and tools (e.g. NVivo ATLAS.ti)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under tight deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to facilitate group discussions effectively
- Understanding of research ethics and compliance with data protection regulations
- Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy in data collection and analysis
- Experience in reporting and presenting research findings to diverse audiences
- Proactive problemsolving abilities and a creative approach to research methodologies
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment
