1 Resource Group is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic for fleet services to join our team. This is a direct hire position with great benefits. As a Diesel Mechanic you will be responsible for inspecting repairing and maintaining a fleet of vehicles including automobiles trucks 18 wheelers forklifts and heavy equipment.Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalentVocational training or formal schooling in auto mechanics is a plusExperience with repairs of large trucks forklifts and heavy equipmentKnowledge of diagnostic equipment and the ability to troubleshoot and test vehiclesAbility to perform preventative maintenance and keep accurate recordsStrong understanding of gasoline diesel and propane enginesFamiliarity with various mechanical and electrical systems of vehiclesProficiency in using a variety of hand and powered shop toolsAdherence to safety procedures and occupational hazardsExcellent communication skills and ability to follow instructionsAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleaguesIf you have the required skills and experience we encourage you to apply for the position.
