Job Description
Our client is a leading consulting firm specialising in digital transformation and cloud services.
We are seeking a talented and motivated Cloud Engineer with experience in FinOps to our clients dynamic team. In this role you will play a key role in designing implementing and optimising cloud solutions clients with a focus on financial operations (FinOps). The ideal candidate will have 14 years of consulting experience a background in Civil or Business Engineering (or similar) fluency in French or Dutch and a natural affinity for technology.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements challenges and objectives related to cloud adoption and FinOps.
Design implement and optimize cloudbased solutions leveraging leading cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Apply FinOps best practices and methodologies to manage cloud spending effectively optimize costs and ensure alignment with budgetary constraints and business objectives.
Develop and implement cloud architecture designs considering factors such as scalability performance security and cost optimization.
Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients and internal teams on cloud technologies FinOps practices and best practices for cloud adoption.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Masters degree in Civil Engineering Business Engineering Computer Science or related field.
14 years of experience in consulting with a focus on technology cloud services or digital transformation.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP and proficiency in cloud services and technologies.
Familiarity with FinOps principles practices and tools for managing cloud spending and optimizing costs.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in French or Dutch (both preferred).
Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.
