A dynamic fastmoving and rapidly growing fintech lending company is seeking a Financial Data Analyst which is committed to delivering innovative financial solutions to its clients is currently looking for a Data Analyst this role is to assist in building and delivering a range of datadriven models across the entire credit life cycle.
Position Overview:
As a Financial Data Analyst you will play a crucial role in building and delivering datadriven models across our entire financial ecosystem. We are seeking a detailoriented individual who is passionate about financial data analysis and comfortable working in a technological environment with various integrated systems.
Your daily adventures:
- Research and analyze financial data to support statistical analysis and reporting for the business.
- Implement and maintain systems for collecting and analyzing financial intelligence data.
- Deliver actionable insights from financial data to enhance decisionmaking across all aspects of our commercial
operations. - Assist in automating and improving the data management process contributing to the development of new
financial products and services. - Collaborate with domain experts data scientists and data engineers to develop analytics tools and solutions tailored to our financial needs.
Core Financial Analytics Duties:
- Conduct analysis on financial metrics including impairment modeling profit and loss analysis and financial performance tracking.
- Monitor and analyze marketing funnel KPIs related to applicant quality conversion metrics and channel performance.
- Monitor credit funnel outcomes and alert stakeholders to any anomalies or risks.
- Develop and maintain customer acquisition scorecards focusing on customer churn reborrow rates and eligibility criteria.
- Create stimulation lists to optimize monetization of declines and dropoff applicants and develop funding likelihood models.
- Conduct customer segmentation analysis to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
Requirements
What is takes to succeed:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field. Masters degree preferred.
- Proficiency in SQL is essential for data retrieval and manipulation.
- Experience with IFRS Impairment Modelling Profit and Loss analysis.
- Experience with financial reporting RDBMS such as Postgres is preferred.
- Advanced skills in Excel Python R or other statistical analysis tools.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau Power BI or similar.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to work with large financial datasets.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly and concisely.
